Let’s be honest, I'm not a football fan.
So when Green Bay was chosen to host the 2025 NFL Draft, it felt like a very clear sign to get out of town!
This short adventure was something I had been quietly meditating on for a while, wondering how, when, and where it might unfold. I wanted to reconnect with nature, with solitude, and with the quieter parts of myself that get drowned out when the world gets too loud.
As I thought about how I would share my trip and the photographs taken along the way, it became obvious: you deserve more than just a blog post. You deserve your own short and sweet Circular Journey!
Thus, Circular Journeys: Draft Edition was born.
This special mini-edition captures a seven-hour wander through Upper Michigan, featuring six black-and-white images paired with reflective, first-person journal entries. It's a microcosm of what the Circular Journeys series has always been about: stepping off the expected path, embracing the beauty of the mundane, and listening to the world whisper through circles, roads, and stories.
